Dear Mum,
You were a fantasic mother to me.
You never complained about all the driving to the endless sporting games, training sessions and work in my teenage years.
Working around the busy life of the market garden, that you and Dad tirelessly devoted your lives to.
You had a fantastic ability to cook amazing foods with ease and the patience and ability to teach me these skills along with the knowledge of how to sew and repair cloths.
You were always caring and had your own way of showing your love to us all.
It is hard to believe that you have moved on to the next journey to be resting with Dad.
You will always be loved, treasured and never forgotten to us.
You were the best mother I could of asked for.
I will miss you teribilly
Love always Rosie Blake

Jean was a lovely lady, who always sounded like she was smiling. She was a part of my childhood – Jean and Bob were always next door. It was lovely to have continued a relationship for all these years, though there was a hiatus for a number of them. But she welcomed me with such warmth when I unexpectedly called in one day. Since then, there have been Christmas cards, letters and phone calls exchanged.
Heartfelt condolences to Neil, Rosemary and your families.
Gone but will never be forgotten.
Home with your husband Bob.
Was always part of our family, so many good and fond memories.
I visited not long ago you didn’t even see my face but heard my voice and yelled Karen.
Always in my heart ❤️
Sincere condolences to Neil, Rosemary and family
My dearest Mum,
I could not have wanted for a better mother, so caring and kind, beloved by all thee met, jealous were so many friends that their mother you were not!
You have always been my guiding light and always will bee!
You are such a caring soul, that you welcomed all, and all loved thee.
You showed so much pleasure in being involved in all we did, which made everything so much more special and enjoyable for me.
You never skimped on us kids care or your affection for us, despite the hard times and riggers that come and go with a farming life.
Your envious cooking ability kept us kids well fed, not only with good wholesome food but food that was a delight.
Especially your chocolate cake, loved by all.
It amazed me how when visitors just dropped in,
food fit for a king just seemed to appear from thin air.
No one ever left hungry, or with a care.
You always amazed me with your ability to spell anything, a skill I sorely lack, one your never ending help with, I will truly miss.
These few word do not do you justice, nor my feelings for you.
Our loss of you from this existence, saddens me deeply, tho a little softened with the knowledge that you have reunited and are resting with dad in peace.
I miss you now and will forever more, love Neil.
