Maxwell Stanley Mitchell
Passed away with loving family by his side
on 5th January 2023.
Aged 80 years.
Dearly loved husband of Lorraine.
Father of James and Amanda.
Father-in-law of Evie and Jason.
Grandfather of Matthew and Joanne.
Brother of Richard (dec) and Reg.
Now you are peacefully sleeping,
away from all your pain,
but the love in our hearts will always remain.
A Celebration for the life of
Max will be held at
the Pakenham Racing Club,
420 Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Road, Tynong
on Tuesday 17th January 2023
commencing at 1:30 p.m.
A private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations to
the St John of God Foundation
would be greatly appreciated.

After a long hard journey, dear Max is finally at peace. My sincere sympathy to you Lorraine and your family. He was a wonderful man and I feel very privileged to have known him.

Our families condolences to the Mitchell family. Having worked with Max for 10 years, Max was a man who always gave valuable learnings to everyone he came into contact with whether it was in a business or social environment. Max believed that people who felt good about themselves would produce good results. He kept asking his management team to catch people doing the right thing. Max added something to everyone he would come into contact with. Vale Max, you were indeed a special person.
Max I love you with my whole heart. You’re the most spectacular human I have ever met. You taught me so much, inspired me and always talked me up and made me believe in myself. You’re gone but never forgotten. Love you Max xx

What a wonderful caring and loving person. Max you started out as our boss and ended up as a dear friend. We are so glad we were able to spend some time with you before Christmas, your parting words to me were so selfless, knowing how sick you were and you telling me to take care of myself. To Max’s family, my condolences. I worked with Max at CitySearch/Big Colour Pages, for several years. He was the best mentor, and knew his stuff, all with a sense of humour. I regret not seeing him before his passing.
