  11. I don’t know how to find the correct words for such a Situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Family. I knew Clyde as my exchange partner‘s brother who was always happy, Open minded and actually the only person who gave me a beer when I was in Australia even though I was too young. But he knew the German traditions.

Unfortunately I did not spend much time with him, but it was a pleasure having known such an open hearted person who was always happy when I met him and always there for a conversation.

My sincere condolences go out to the whole family.

  20. Clyde was such a great guy and I was very fortunate enough to be close with him even if it was for a short period of time. So many fun memories with him and his family and I will forever be thankful for those.
I’m very glad I got to know him and the world will not be the same without him.

    Tamika Bowers
  21. I’ve rewritten this passage a fair bit trying to articulate exactly who Clyde was and the level of impact he had on my life. Words fall short here, but I wouldn’t be close to the person I am today without marvelling and imitating the confidence and gusto Clyde had for life. RIP mate I love you heaps and will carry our memories for us xx

  22. I met Clyde through sailing, and was lucky enough to share many adventures with him on the Young Endeavour and in the years following. I feel very lucky to have known him – the world now feels a little less brighter without him in it. Sending all my love to his family and friends. Emma

  23. Dear Richard, Noeleen and family.
The world will be a little less bright without the bright spark that was Clyde, his crazy funny attitude to life and living life to the fullest. We were fortunate to spend family holidays together at the beach laughing and enjoying time with our families all together. The Christmas days and birthdays shared always with lots of love and laughter.
    sending you all our love
    xxxooo

    Michele Bowers
  24. Our heart breaks for you all in this sorrowing time. Hug each other tightly and share the memories you have with each other. Let Clyde’s brief life be remembered with love laughter and tears too.
Love your Tassie family Jen, Kjell and Dane

  25. I didn’t know Clyde as well as my partner Zanek. However when I met Clyde, he was the most welcoming person. There was no bad bone in his body. I pick up on these things easily and I knew he was a good one from the start. I always viewed him as the funny guy and I will always remember him as that guy. I remember the first time I met him and he was trying to give me free food at Maccas and I was continuously offering to pay, not knowing he was the manager. I remember the phone call we had where he was so excited to join Zanek and I on our adventures… he was so so good at making business phone calls.. I won’t forget us practicing

This will be my first ever funeral to attend and I cannot believe Clyde’s is the first. It is truly a devastating time and I wish things could’ve been different. Zanek and I will forever miss you Clyde. Xx
We can only wish for you to truly be happy and in a better place now. We have a candle dedicated to you which will forever stay in our room with the wedding invitation we couldn’t give you in time.

May you Rest In Peace Clyde

I wish you knew the love Zanek had for you. You even changed my life in so many ways and I didn’t know you all that well or for that long.

    Sending love to everyone xx

    Layla and Zanek

  28. I have a vivid memory of 3 year old Clyde riding a trike on the concrete slab of the shed that hadn’t yet been built. It must have been the best surface to ride on because he was hooning around and he knew just when to turn to stay on the concrete. I can’t remember if he had clothes on or not, definitely not many.
What a beautiful person. Our hearts are full of love for him and for his parents and siblings. ❤ Cathy

  30. Marilyn and I offer our sincere condolences to you on your loss.
    There is rarely ‘closure’ and perhaps there ought not to be;
instead, we pray that the frayed and tender threads where the fabric
has been ripped will, with time, find their way back into the weave
of your lives, a witness to Clyde’s life and your love for him.
Holding you in heart and mind, and in our prayer.

    Richard Jupp & Marilyn Copeland

  33. Our hearts are breaking. Clyde came into our lives when he and our son Tim went to Snowy Leadership camp for a term in year 9. The boys became great friends and spent many holidays together doing adventurous things together, just as young boys should. He was a bright flame who we loved having stay at our house and going away on holidays with. He brought Tim out of his shell and we delighted in watching the boys’ friendship develop over the years. Clyde has been a very important part of our lives.
Cindy, Richard, Noleen and family, as parents, we cannot imagine the pain you are in at the moment. Our sincerest heart-felt condolences are with you at this time. RIP Clyde. Liz, Rob, Indy and Tim x

Always willing to take a little extra in his pack to help lighten the load of others struggling to get up the hill.
