Alby was a true friend and co-conspirator at the Pakenham Outlook Men’s Shed, he and I constructed all manner of (as it turned out) not very durable hanging wooden planter pot holders. We had fun doing it, with Alby along for the ride, how could it be otherwise?
Goodbye, my old friend.

What can i say, I met Carmel and Alby when my sister Sandra ( R.I.P) helped me wag school at 14yrs old .
Now
46 years later and I can still hear that laugh, Woody Woodpecker I called him , amongst other things hahaha But he always just laughed
I Have some fond memories of my visits in Dalgety St , Kelvinside Rd Nan and Pop Smiths place in Coburg, and the RSL Village, then with You guys in Pakenham.
He was one of a kind and I know Dear Friend Carmel, Paul, Sharon ,Jamie, partners and families will all miss him dearly
Take comfort in knowing he is with his beloved ones that have already passed..
Reunited with his mum 82 yrs later…
R.I.P Alby, Arab, Woody Woodpecker ox
I visited him back in October last year. A great mentor I always had. The best part while I was with him back then is that I showed him a picture of a 1969 Camaro and he was fascinated so he showed me all the models he even had one that’s near identical to the car that I shown him.
My huge condolences to my great friend Carmel too. Rest well Alby.
