Hello Bec. Flea said you’d called around and had been up to sit with Tim for a bit. You have never wavered in maintaining your connection with this family and we love you for that.
my thoughts are with you all on your sad loss. so pleased to know you were all with her. Aunty Dorothy was a wonderful woman and will be sadly missed. I will stream the funeral and check on you all.
Our heartfelt condolences to Karen, Robyn, Janette, Cheryl, Michael and their families.
Dorothy was a significant, treasured, dearly loved cousin & special friend of Dossie Jones (Gillies); and of course, to all our family.
Both named Dorothy, they shared the same outlook and perspective on life; and on death; both pragmatic with a wry sense of humour. In recent years; they joked about who would go first!
Hard working, honest, and loyal with strong family bonds to her children, grandies, and great grandies; there was also a special bond between Dorothy and Mum.
Treasured memories of Dorothy and Grandma McIntosh; when Mum spent time in Lang Lang; then when Mum and Dad and us kids, lived in Lang Lang.
Dorothy was a great lover of photos. We have fond memories of looking through old pics from years past. Our Billingsley side of the family get togethers were peppered with love and laughter and great discussions over these old photos.
We have many, many treasured memories stored in our hearts.
Gone; but not forgotten.
All our Love;
Dossie, Leanne, Greg & Glenn Gillies.
Dear Robyn and family
I feel like our mothers have lead parallel lives these last years. I know the anguish and concern that you have felt as she made her last arrangements. It appears she left this life her way on her terms and with all of you around her. Sounds like Women in control right to the end, good on her. It doesn’t make it easier, though. Our thoughts are with you and the extended family.
Mark, Alice, Tom & Ya.
Our sincerest sympathies to the Utber family during this difficult time.
Our next door neighbours….lots of good memories.
I start this day with memories of joy and laughter also sadness and tears you were a true friend Dot my thoughts are with all your family today Peter
Our deepest sympathy to all the family. A lovely lady and good neighbour for over 50 years. Sorry we could not attend but our thoughts are with you. Peter and Irene & family.
It was with sadness that we heard of Dorothy’s passing. We know that she had been unwell for sometime, she is at peace with her loved ones who have gone before. A true and wonderful lady who was a pleasure to meet up with and renew old times. Rest peacefully Dot love to all your family Jan and Glen McGregor
