Condolences / Guest Book

  1. Deepest sympathy is extended to Harry’s family, and close friends. Harry was such an amazing, knowledgeable, friendly man who just loved a good chat. This always happened when he was selling Anzac badges and Poppies. Harry, with his little table outside the Newsagents rain, cold wind or sunshine, will be missed by many. So very pleased to have known you. RIP Harry, with all your mates again. from Glennda Studd

  2. Harry, mum’s neighbour. We often had a chin wag over the back fence. Once mum moved on, we continued our chats over a cuppa at his place whenever I visited from interstate. Our last face to face catch up – it took Harry a while to recognise me thanks to the plight of failing senses we all face as we age. But once it clicked who was “shouting” at him we had a very happy visit! I value the many life anecdotes, happy and not so much, and Harry’s memoir and book on the 2/24th battalion which provide further insights into a long and well lived life. Thanks Anne for letting me know how Harry was getting on once we could no longer converse on the phone. Warmest wishes to you and everyone who knew Harry. Hooroo Harry.
