Bradley Dean (Brad) Waterhouse
Passed peacefully on
Sunday April 9th 2017
at the Valley Private Hospital.
Aged 45 ½ years.
Loved and loving son of Keith and Meryl.
Devoted Dad to Bethany and Hannah.
Loved and loving brother to Jodie
and dear uncle to Joshua and Matilda.
We will love and miss you all the days of our lives.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of
Bradley Dean (Brad) Waterhouse will be held at the
Cardinia Cultural Centre,
40 Lakeside Boulevard Pakenham in the Banquet Room
Saturday April 22nd 2017 commencing at 1.00 p.m.
A private family burial will be held.
In lieu of Flowers donations to a Trust Fund for
Bethany and Hannah would be appreciated.
Envelopes will be available on the day.

There comes a time on your life when you start to lose friends, because we can’t live forever. But that time wasn’t supposed to come for many years yet. You fought long and hard, Brad. Now it’s time to rest and watch over your girls from another place. Sleep well, my friend.
Thoughts are with all who loved Brad at this time. A good scout , friend and mate gone home to rest in peace.
A wonderful man that will be sorely missed, and our hearts go out to all of Brads family.

Brad, you fought a brave battle in face of what you were going through. Your courage and admiration will live on. It was a pleasure knowing you. You touched so many with your caring ways.
Rest easy now. You will always be in our minds and forever in our hearts.
Brad, you were a wonderful friend with a great sense of fun and support for your mates, a real love of your beautiful family and huge heart that also had room for the community that you protected in your years of dedication and skills in CFA and also for your fellow firefighting brethren.
We already miss your cheeky sense of humour and know that you will never be forgotten and you will remain an inspiration for so many of us.

I met Brad in 1998 when I came to Australia from England to work for a year there. I worked with Brad at BWD. I found him to be be a true gent and helped me whenever I needed it. He will be missed by people all over the world. A very sad loss to everyone. My sincere condolences to his family and everyone who knew and had the pleasure of meeting him.
A friend in every sense of the word. Always there when needed. Brad’s legacy to his family, Maryknoll and the larger CFA will endure.
Brad, you leave so many memories behind. May your family find some peace in this.

It started at Kindagarden then Scouts. He never forgot us. If we were walking on the street he would always say “Hello”. Even after many years. He was cheaky and funny.
He was one of the popular ones who was humble.
Thank you for what you have given to us in the short time you were around.

Brad you were the one who came out of nowhere and scared me on many occasions and we both were in stiches laughing with Rob looking on. You fought the toughest fight of your life my friend, and I will miss that amazing smile -see you for coffee and cake when the time arises.

Brad was extremely lucky to have such a strong and supportive family, he would have given Bethany and Hannah the world, Keith and Meryl you raised such an amazing selfless guy he took after you both always taking care of the community. Brad found himself such an amazing, supportive, strong group of friends. Brad was such a selfless guy, he would do anything for the world, worked with the CFA saving people’s lives everyday. Brad put his family and friends before himself, he cared strongly about you all. Brad was taken too young, losing his fight with cancer he made a mark in his community and will be remembered by everyone who knew him, his big smile lit up the world. Brad will be remembered as a hero, he will be forever missed by everyone.
Brad you were one big fighter but this battle was to big for anyone , you are a super soul that fought it right till the end now you can rest in peace & be free to sore like a magnificent angel & watch over & protect your family from a much better place , I will miss you forever my dear cousin but I will see you again 1 day & im sure you will be waiting with open arms for us all when we get there love you always & forever Tania Waterhouse & family

On behalf of the members of Drouin West Fire Brigade our sincere condolences to the Waterhouse family and all the members of Maryknoll Fire Brigade. We might have only crossed paths on a few occasions on the fireground, particularly post Black Saturday and that nasty fire out the back of Maryknoll but always worked well together.
Brad I did not know you personally, just through your gorgeous sister Jodie. Your loss has created an unfillable hole for so many. You were so loved. I just wanted you to know I love your sister and she will be in good hands. She has many who love her and will look out for her always.
