  7. Joy’s story was full of love and she showed it in so many ways. Always a kind word for everyone and she helped me through difficult teenage years. Often providing an alternative aspect for me to think about. Still on the computer sending text messages until she was gone. I miss her sparkle already knowing I can’t chat with her. A true lady with a big heart. Hugs for Michael and Julie. You will need it. Love

  8. ‘We grew up expecting regular (much anticipated) air letters containing news of our Aussie family. They would be read and re read. The annual packaging of Christmas presents for the long sea journey. Finally in the 70’s the ‘Aussies’ came to visit! Huge excitement. Then in 2003 Judith was able to come with her family to visit all the people and places we had heard about. We wish that we had been able to meet more often.
Joy was such a great lady, loyal and resilient, stoical like most of her generation, and a good lifelong friend to our mum. We know that you will miss her very much.
All our love Judith, Andy, Gillian and Ricky and families. Xx’
