  7. Sorry to see the passing of your wife Ray.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to come to the service as I live in Queensland .
Still have memories of all you Lightowler boys living next to EBSS and delivering meat from my fathers butcher shop to your mother.
I don’t really remember your wife and family but I know how you all are feeling on the passing of your wife and mother as I was married for 61 years before my wife passed away.
We caught up Ray at the 100th Anniversary of the club and earlier this year in February I made probably my last visit to the ground to have a look at the new ground which was getting near completion.
A lot different to the ground that you and I played on in the 1950,s and early 1960’s.

  8. Sending our deepest condolences to Ray and your family.

Joan was a cherished member of our Buldogs family and a much-loved player sponsor. Her support over the years-from father and son pairings like Scott & Rhylee West to Tony & Tom Liberatore, and so many others – reflected her true passion and loyalty to the red, white and blue.

Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
