Gillian Mary Vissenga
Passed away peacefully at home

with loving family by her side on
Monday 8th June 2026.
Aged 87 Years.
Dearly loved wife of David,
Mother of Claire, Louise, Charlotte and James.
Mother-in-law of Josephine and Raelene.

Grandmother of Sarah, Christian, Patrick,
Alexandra, William, Lachlan, Benjamin and Tia.
Great Grandmother of Aiden, Harrison, Gillian,
Edith, Sadie, Arla and Adeline.
Now at peace, after a courageous battle.

Requiem Mass for the
repose of the soul of
Mrs Gillian Vissenga will be offered at
St. Michael’s Catholic Church,
129 High Street, Berwick on
Friday 19th June 2026
commencing at 11.00 a.m.
A private cremation will follow.

  5. We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Gill.Her courage, strength, and grace throughout her long health journey were truly inspiring.

    We feel fortunate to have shared so many wonderful memories together over the years — enjoying good meals, raising a glass, living close by ,travelling to beautiful places, discussing your magnificent garden especially the roses and creating moments that will remain with us always. Gill’s warmth, friendship, and sense of joy enriched the lives of everyone who knew her.
