Grace Gardner (nee Hilder)
Passed away peacefully
with loving family by her side
on Friday 16th October 2026.
Aged 93 years.
Dearly loved wife of Bob (dec).
Treasured mother of John,
Andrew, Russell, Judith, Stewart,
Graham, Ken, Anne (dec), Denise,
Stephen, Cathy and their partners.
Adored grandmother to all her
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tears in our eyes we’ll wipe away,
but the love in our hearts is there to stay.
Until we meet again.
A viewing followed by Rosary
will be held the night prior
(Thursday 22nd October 2026)
In the small hall at the
Holy Family Catholic Church,
commencing at 7:00 p.m.
Requiem Mass
for the repose of the soul of
Mrs Grace Gardner will be offered at
the Holy Family Catholic Church
100 Power Road, Doveton
on Friday 23rd October 2026
commencing at 10.30 a.m.
A burial will follow at
Springvale Botanical Cemetery,
600 Princes Highway, Springvale
in the RW Gillard Lawn.

Grace was a wonderful lady & a beautiful soul, she always had a smile for everyone. I have known Grace & Bob over 35 yrs. We first met @ Holy Family Parish. Our prayers & taughts go out to all her family members. May her soul RIP ❤️ Fly high dear Grace with all the Angel’s above. Forever in Peace. Love Marian & family.

To family and friends. I was really sad to hear the news of Graces passing. Grace was truly an amazing lady. I will miss her sence of humour, her talking to myself about the troubles of the world and how we go about solving them. I will treasure those memories always. my heart and thought’s are with you all at this sad time.
