Anne Veronica Brown (nee Burchell)
passed away peacefully on
Thursday November 9th 2017.
Aged 90 years.
Dearly loved daughter of the late
Samuel and Catherine Burchell of Banyena.
Loving sister of Hugh (dec), Kathleen, and Marie (dec)
Beloved wife of John
Cherished mother and mother in law of
Mary and Andrew, Brendan and Sally, Angela and Phil.
Adored grandmother of Hugh, Gus, Isobel, Lucy,
Edward, Henry and Audrey.
Loved by all who knew her
Rest in peace
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of
Mrs Anne Veronica Brown will be offered at
St Joseph’s Catholic Church
1215 Bunyip River Road Iona on
Friday November 17th 2017 commencing at 11:30 a.m.
A burial will follow at the Bunyip Cemetery
Bunyip-Tonimbuk Road, Bunyip.
Really sorry I can’t be there today, but have so many happy memories of Anne – especially the “Browns at Blairgowrie” when, after the holidays were over, Anne and Mary would make sure I got back to Melbourne. Always so thoughtful and great fun. All the singing and Anne’s favourite “I’ve Got a Brand New Pair of Roller Skates” and John’s “Welcome to My World”. Tynong was never the same after “The Browns” came to town! Good times.
