Katherine (Thelma) Merbis
Passed away on Thursday 1st August 2019.
Aged 83 years.
She died with great dignity and peace,
surrounded by her family.
She was the devoted wife of Rien (dec),
treasured mother of Susan, Jennifer and Sonya,
fond mother-in-law of Murray, Geoff and Ward,
adored Grandma of Emily, Thomas and Alice,
Trenyce, Max, Ruby and Annabel.
Now in God’s care and reunited with her beloved Rien.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of
Katherine (Thelma) Merbis will be held at the
Berwick Church of Christ
446 Centre Road Berwick on
Thursday 8th August 2019 commencing at 10:30 a.m.
Refreshments will be served at the church prior
to the committal prayers at the Harkaway Cemetery
Hessel Road, Harkaway arriving at approx. 2:30 p.m.
Dear Sue Sonya and Jennifer my deepest Sympathy and condolences on the passing of your dear Mother i know my message is late i do apologize your mother was a beautiful lady and is to be remembered as the longest standing member of Berwick Church of Christ Katherine was a kind lady i always remember having a friendly chat with her at church services where she told me about her dear husband who she is now reunited with in Heaven i am sure she was very proud of you and all her grandchildren Rest in peace Katherine
