Sincere condolences to you all. We cared so much about him…a truly lovely man. May he rest in peace
Sincere condolences to Duke’s family and friends. He came from just down the road from where I grew up, from the wonderful Monson household, a place of good neighbours and solid friends. His family’s ethos was one of helpfulness, honesty and decency, people who would give you the coat off their backs and who were always there to give a helping hand when needed.
I’m sorry to hear of his passing, and I know he must be sorely missed. I hope it’s some small consolation to know that you are all in our thoughts, even though on the other side of the world, at this sad time.
To the family of Duke, I would like to pass on our sincere sympathies from the Hassard family in Northern Ireland. My father, the late Wesley Hassard was a first cousin of Duke. As a family I remember several visits to Dukes brother Fred and his cousin Dorothy Taylor. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Doris Woods
