  6. Mark always seemed to be smiling and also ready to listen.
The description that comes to mind is gentle-man in the fullest sense of the word.
Praying for you all as you say goodbye.

  7. Mark was always a positive influence for me. He loved his family and always had time to talk to me on the phone. I always felt better after our calls. He and Maxine opened their home and family to me when I needed somewhere to stay. Although we had distance between us I always felt close to him. I thank God for such a loving brother and he will be sorely missed by Brendon and I

  8. So sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. It brought back so many memories of youth group days and playing basketball together. He was very influential in my formative days as a young Christian. The youth group days were such fun and meaning full as we formed our young faith journey together. Mark was a great basketballer winning many awards. In writing about ‘being sorry about Mark passing’ the thought did come into my mind that it might be the first time he actually passed. LOL! He was never one to pass the ball around as he more often than not took the responsibility to shoot the ball. But he was a great guy and a good friend in those days. Love to Maxine and the family. 9. Dear Maxine and Family

We are thinking of you as you face a future without Mark. Cousin Mark was special to us. While times together in our retirement years have been few when we did get together or simply have a conversation the relationship resumed seamlessly.
We too will miss Mark who we will remember as a keen sportsman, a hard worker, a fine friend and relative and above all an outstanding, loving husband, father and grandfather.

We offer our love and sincere condolences to you Maxine, Scott, Craig, Sarah, Brett and your families.
