Comfort his family Lord Thank you for giving him to us
Sincere thanks, for you kind thoughts, Anne.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. To Michelle, what an absolute amazing job you did in caring for poppy. With everything going on, your love and commitment during the good times and the hard times are truly admirable. You are a woman worthy of praise. Rest In Peace now Alan. Have a brandy for me and I’ll see you on the other side. Xx
Sincere thanks, for your kind and uplifting thoughts, Lisa & family. xxxx
“Lo, there do I see my father.
Lo, there do I see my mother,
and my sisters, and my brothers.
Lo, there do I see the line of my people,
Back to the beginning!
“Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them,
In the halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave may live forever.”
Alan was a great friend of our family and is remembered very fondly. During the 1990s, he was an excellent and influential leader of the British Australian Community (formerly known as the United Kingdom Settlers Association). He cared deeply about our people and became a wise mentor for many BAC members. He harnessed the power of local radio (3RPP FM) to share information about British traditions and to advocate effectively for British Australians. He will be deeply missed. Our sympathy and condolences go to Pauline, Michelle and family.
Thank you. Your message will be displayed once moderated. This may take up to 24 hours.
