So sorry to hear of your passing Angela you were a amazing person and with the biggest of hearts love Declan Clare and kids ❤️
My love and thoughts are with you as we mourn Aunty Angela. Her spirit and kindness will always be with us.
My sincere sympathy to Paul, Martina and family. A truly wonderful lady and neighbour. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May Angela truly be at peace now. ⚘️
To dear Paul, Martina and Cyndy and your families. There is no doubt that this is a very distressing time and one filled with very mixed emotions and lots of memories.
Angela and I were friends for more than 60 years. We were lucky to have become school pals at OLMC Parramatta in the early 1960s. We shared classes and confidences and while we remained good friends over all that time and knew so much about one another we didn’t live in one another’s pockets – we were just there for one another.
Paul I am sure that neither you nor Ange would have expected this order of events and I can believe that you are feeling completely lost without her. It was obvious to me that you and she were good friends as well as partners in your marriage. She will leave a very big hole in all your lives.
Angela loved you all beyond words and was so very proud of Martina and Gavin and her beautiful grandchildren. Angela responded positively to everyone she met and spoke of her family, her ‘baby’ sister Cyndy, the extended Newey family, her work colleagues and friends with warmth and enthusiasm.
I take comfort in remembering the many happy times I shared with her. I smile to myself at the memories of our days at school. But I was more than thrilled to know that she achieved her most important aim to resettle in Melbourne and see Paul established in their new home so close to the family.
With much love Roberta
Thank you for being my godmother. I love you always & I’ll hold your kindness and laughter in my heart forever.
I am totally heartbroken with this horrible news. Ang you sent me a Christmas card every year whilst I was working and every year I would say I will definitely send you one next year and never did. You will always be remembered and be in my prayers. Say hello to your mum and dad . Glad I got to speak with you before your passing
Praying that your family cope , with this loss. Sending love and hugs to Paul, Cyndy, Martina, Gaven and the grandchildren. RionneXX
My deepest sympathy to you all, Angela wasn’t just a work colleague but also what I considered my second mum. She will be deeply missed.
Sincere condolences to Paul and all Angela’s family. Angela and I attended OLMC Parramatta in the 1960s. We were not part of each other’s friendship groups back then, but in more recent decades – through school reunions and catch-up lunches – we came to know each other well. I am so happy that I saw Angela in December last year, when she travelled to NSW to achieve her goal of attending one last family Christmas on the Central Coast. I am also grateful to Angela for being the person who enjoyed my Facebook posts the most! She always had a positive comment to make, or interesting question to ask. Angela was a delight to know, and I’m sorry that I didn’t know her longer. She will certainly rest in peace, knowing how much her family and friends love her.
