Anita Mary Stephens (nee Carville)
Passed away peacefully
with loving family by her side
on 1st July 2025.
Aged 74 years.
Loved wife of Gary.
Mother of Helen (dec.),
Carmen and David.
Nanny of Grace.

A Funeral Service for
Anita Stephens will be held at
David W Bull Pakenham Funeral Home,
190 Princes Highway, Pakenham
on Friday 11th July 2025
commencing at 10.30 a.m.
A private family burial will follow.

Words cannot express the loss we feel at the passing of Anita, our dear friend of 55 years. Together we shared an interesting journey through our life, uphill, down dale, and along the straight. We were at each other’s wedding and welcomed the birth of our children into our families and shared many good times together.
When I visited Anita at lunch time in respite recovery after her serious car accident, it was a case of “What have you got today?” lots of talking and cups of tea. We enjoyed many “Road trips”, our favourite destination was Cloudehill in Olinda for morning tea. We worked out what we enjoyed, and it got to the stage it was “The usual, thank you”, and of course we enjoyed a long chat.
You are now pain free.

Anita,my dearest, wonderful, beautiful friend. I’m going to miss our chats,we were going to conquer all the problems of the world while drinking coffee and maybe the odd vanilla slice,we would only have half each,we were watching our waistline. I wish we could have one more cuppa, RIP Anita,love you..Jeanette x
Anita you were such a beautiful, cheerful, positive soul & a dear friend. I wish we had had more regular catch-ups, You have left us far too soon, but I will treasure the good times we had. Rest in peace.

Even though I didn’t see you all as much since moving to Somerville I enjoyed our lunches when we did manage to get together and I loved our craft days when we used to do them. Anita you were such a loving caring lady and I will miss you very much. My thoughts are with you Gary Carmen David and Grace.
