“I am hopeful that all of you have processed this sad occasion well and with Gods help have overcome the pain. I recon that while all of this is so sad, it also means that God has decided that the little Angel has found a better place in heaven, cause his life on earth would have been extremely difficult. It pained me deeply in my heart, that he had to suffer so much. God bless you. Big Hug ! … It was a tough life’s test for Jeannine, a very courageous and exemplary daughter that God has gifted you with.”

Jeanine and Stefano. We’re so sorry your little boy couldn’t hang around longer and grow strong and mighty under your watch. May God grant you peace as you cope with the hole he has left. May He bless little Asher, welcome him home with open arms and bless him with glory until you join him.

Oh little Asher, your precious soul was here so briefly. You touched so many lives as we followed your journey. We are so happy that you came into our family and are crestfallen to see you go before we could meet you. While we trust your mission in heaven is as important as yours on earth was, it is so hard to understand why someone so beautiful and precious should be made to leave us so soon. Peace be with you Asher, till we meet again.

Jeanine & Stefano Though your heart is heavy, may you find peace in knowing that little Asher is now in the arms of our loving Savior. ‘For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.’ (Philippians 1:21) May God’s grace surround you during this difficult time, and may His promise of eternal life bring you comfort, knowing that little Asher is safe with Him forever. ‘The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.’ (Psalm 34:18)

My prayers are with you all on this very difficult and sad day. Asher is a lucky little boy to have such faithful Christians as his parents. He knows he is surrounded by both the love of his family and God’s love. He is surrounded by that beautiful golden light of warmth, strength and peace. May you and your families be blessed and surrounded by this same golden light today and always. My prayers are with all of you today as your precious little boy is reminded of how loved he is.

Dear Stephano & Janine, I am forever greatful to God for bringing you into our lives. I have never witnessed lives like yours that are truly layed down to allow yourselves to be used in whatever way God chooses. You live LOVE and you are a light shinning in the darkness. Asher will be on my list of things to be greatful for forever. Bless you.
My deepest and most heartfelt condolences for your loss. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. I pray that you can take comfort in knowing that Asher is safe and healed and in Father Gods arms of love. Also that you will be reunited one day in heaven as all believers and followers of Jesus are.
Asher’s message always was and always will be ‘Keep Looking Up’ towards the author and perfecter of your faith, keep looking unto Jesus. He heals the broken hearted and binds their wounds, I pray this process draws you closer and even more dependant on Him, there is no better place to be.

Dear Jeannine and Stefano
My most sincere condolences to you and your family. Though your time with Asher was short, know you have build a trove of treasured memories that will last a lifetime. I pray that God will see you through this time of grief and that he will reveal the next mission for your lives. “‘For I know the plans I have for you, says the lord’, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.'” God has great plans, and I know you will get stronger as you continue to look upon him. He is indeed your anchor, and I know you will meet Asher again in eternity.
Stephano and Jeannine, this was the most beautiful and inspiring service for Asher. Truly a celebration of life. Asher’s life, but also Christ’s life with you standing as faithful witnesses. My heart is full and I feel so inspired – all the talks and the music. But most of all I feel love. I believe one of Asher’s missions in life was love and connection. How beautiful to witness the love you have for your son, but all the more how beautiful the love you have for each other and ultimately the love you have for your savior. The bond that Asher created stretches far…. even over continents. I see this tender love in the way you as a couple are united… the love between mothers and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren, cousins, friends, doctors. What beautiful bonds have been created. Thank you for letting me be part of this journey. Daniel enjoyed the service, too. He was staying awake and listening closely to everything. Already in the womb was he reacting to Asher.
And now a few words for Asher: I can’t wait to see you again! You truly were a gift on this earth and an example. I am grateful for every day you spent on this earth. You truly are one of the great ones. Oma always sang a song in my childhood when she talked about a little girl who had to leave this earth early like you. This is the song Oma sang and that is making me think of you:

What a beautiful memorial to Asher, to your love and dedication to his care and to the faithfulness of God, the Father after whom every family on earth is named. Sweet Little Asher, not only were you one of the most adorable babies ever, but you were also so strong and brave. It was truly a privilege and an honour to know you through your amazing parents. The photos and updates they shared were so inspiring, and I am profoundly grateful to you for showing the medical world here in Australia that children with Trisomy 18 are compatible with life. You proved that they deserve the same fighting chance as any other child.
One of your many legacies will be teaching doctors this vital truth: that every child, no matter their diagnosis, deserves medical intervention and care. Your life will inspire hope for countless unborn babies and their families, encouraging them to believe in possibilities and fight for a future.
Asher, your courage and story will continue to inspire so many. Your light will shine on in the hearts of all who hear about you, and your legacy will ripple across generations. You were, and will always be, an incredible gift to this world.
Hi Jeannine, continuing to pray for you as you continue your journey with Jesus, your Good Shepherd. I watched Asher’s funeral, but not live because of the time. It was a beautiful tribute to his short, but impactful life. You did so well speaking. Thank you for reading my message to you, that meant a lot. The two photo slots with beautiful music were very touching. Your love for Asher shone out through your eyes. I’m sure Asher’s life has touched more people than you’ll know and you will have met other parents, because of your journey, that you would never have met otherwise. So you will have brought the love and peace of the Lord into people’s lives, that you may be unaware of….. but God knows, and sees.
