CROWLEY – Cicely ‘Joan’.
19.5.1917 – 27.2.2017
Passed away peacefully at Alchera House, Korumburra.
Loving wife of Jack (dec. ), dearly loved mother of Gerald (dec. ) and Linda. Much loved mother- in-law of Marlene and Rob. Loved grandmother of Geoff, Jenny, Cameron and Nirvana. Caring great grandmother of Flynn, Mia, Ivy, and Jessica. Thanks to all the staff at Alchera, who made Mum so comfortable. Mum, your smile would light up the room, your interest in everyone around you was wonderful. You didn’t quite make it to 100, but had a pretty good try.
Always in our hearts.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mrs Joan Crowley will be held at David W. Bull Funeral Home, 6 Brunt St, Cranbourne on Friday March 3rd 2017 commencing at 1.30 p. m. A Private Cremation will follow.
Dear Linda & Rob – Our heartfelt condolences to you at this time of your loss. I was a real treat to meet her in 1998 and always wished I could have seen her more often. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time Will write to you later.

It’s the end of an era, the last of the Canter girls. It’s a loss to everyone but how lucky were we all to have Auntie Joan in our lives. I was always in awe of her energy, passion and humour. If I can be 1/2 of what she was as I age…I’ll consider my life well lived.
I’ll always treasure the times I stayed with her and Uncle Jack: the morning teas and afternoon sherry; cookies; yoga and swimming; drives in the county; picnics. I was blessed! And I still feel blessed for having her in my life.
Sending you all of my love and laughter and fabulous memories of a fabulous lady. Please give each other a hug for me on Friday.
