Shocked to hear the sad news of Clive’s passing. We will miss him calling in for our regular chats about the mighty Dee’s. We enjoyed our car trips to and from the G to watch Melbourne, and Clive and Pete going to the three finals games together in 2018.
Our deepest sympathy to Annie, Kenny and Harrison.

Very saddened to hear of Clive’s passing. He was a long-standing friend of my father Maric (Max) Gilbert, since their Scouting days around 50 years ago.
Clive made the supreme effort to attend Dad’s funeral last month, which I know would have meant so much to dad.
On behalf of the family our heartfelt condolences go out to Clive’s family.
From Christine Davis.

Well my old friend, thanks for the friendship and memories❤️
I would’ve loved to have had one more beer with you but I’ll have it with Ken when I get down that way again!
You will be missed.
To all the family my thoughts and love are with you
The people that read at your service knew you well Clive. I met you when Greg and I visited Melbourne to see our son, daughter-in-law and grandies. We went to a restaurant in Pakenham but I can’t remember the name. You were such a sweetheart and you cared so much for my aunty which was what I cared most about.
Each time you came to NZ you never failed to look us up. You were a breath of fresh air and I loved your enthusiasm and humour.
You may be gone, but like Cheryl, never forgotten.
Arohanui matua,
Lynda and Greg Jobe ❤❤
Clivey was a true gentleman in every sense. I will always have fond memories of the songs and stories told around the tree stump at yabbieland. Condolences to family and friends.
All our love and thoughts are with you all – a beautiful service for an amazing man. Sincere condolences to Ken, Annie, John, Leanne, Colin, Jacqui and families, as well as all the Yabbie family. Clive really made us all family and I will always really treasure the laughs, ditties, cheekiness, that big Clivey laugh and the way that he brought everyone together.
We wish we could be there with you to remember this great man today.
Cheers to you Clive and please give our love to Cheryl. We love you both and you’ll never be forgotten xxx
Annie & Kenny – So sorry on the loss of your amazing and kind Dad xxx He was a beautiful man ❤️
So deeply saddened to hear of Clive’s passing.
I have very fond memories of working with Clive at Valley Graphics.
Condolences to his family.
Rest In Peace Clive.
We tried to phone Clive this morning but number disconnected. A great shock on searching the internet to learn he died last August.
We will always remember him as a ‘top bloke’ when staying with him in Melbourne and having him stay with us here in Newquay, Cornwall when he visited. Such a wonderful, warm, generous man. Meeting the likes of Clive is akin to panning for gold and finding a wonderful, precious nugget. Rest in Peace with your beloved Cheryl.
