Condolences to Magda and the family.
I met Colin in 1973, at my first job at McPhersons in Walter St, Moorabbin. He was an amazing guiding light to me then and our paths followed the same path, thru the industry as in steel distribution Heine Bros, Steeline. Honest as the Sun shone every day. I would often still ring him discuss life and buisness. Most importantly he was a true, kind gentleman and a friend. I will remember him fondly and lovingly a rare beast he was.
C u mate, you will need to get me a leave pass from up there to join u one day.
Dear Magda and family.
Take comfort and rest knowing that your/our
dearly beloved is with our Lord.
He ran his race well and has won the prize.

Dear Magda, Nicki, Mark and all the extended Lane family…
On behalf of Lexie and I, and all of the extended STEELINE Family, our sincere condolences. Colin was just a great person. A devoted family man and full of generosity to everyone. Colin was also a true legend of the Victorian Steel industry and legendary Steeline Member. He will be remembered and missed by us all – and I’m sure he’s up there, banging on his drums loud and free…
Love Wally & Lexie
Dear Magda, Niki and family,
We were so deeply sorry to hear about Collin’s passing. He was such a kind man and we feel grateful to have known him.
The service was incredibly moving, especially the personal stories that were shared. It was a beautiful tribute to a life so well lived and so dearly loved.
Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you and the entire family during this difficult time. We’re holding you close in our thoughts, and we’re here for you – whatever you need.
With deepest sympathy,
Lucie and James J.

We could watch the whole service for Colin. Not sure if you received our previous message of condolances, but it was good to see some of you in the service. As usual Peter came with a very good and clear message. Greetings and blessings on all of you.
