Passed away peacefully
with loving family by her side
on 7th September 2025,
Aged 102 years.
Dearly loved mother of
Keith, Valerie and Patricia.
Grandmother of Brian, Tracey,
Mark, Scott, Simon and Alicia.
Great grandmother of Julianna, Ethan,
Alexandra, Kaila, Shona, Jayden, Corey,
Riley, William, Jacob and Bella.
Great great grandmother of
Eli, India and Samuel.
A Funeral Service for
Daphne Wright will be held at
David W Bull Pakenham Funeral Home,
190 Princes Highway, Pakenham on
Tuesday 16th September 2025
commencing at 10.30 a.m.
A private cremation will follow.

My mother in law was always welcoming. I lived with her when I met Keith. She gave me a place to live while we made the decision to marry. She visited us in 1979, her first flight. We had three months for my children to know their Australian grandparents. They loved her visits as they always came home from school to fresh made cookies and scones. My parents loved her and Sam. She was so loving to my sister Grace. I am glad she is reunited with her many loved ones. She will never be forgotten.
You have not really lost her,
She has not gone too far.
She has gone to her Father’s House
and left the door ajar.
Thinking of you, Val, and your dear family. We cannot join you for the funeral.

I was so privileged to call you Nanna. I loved you so much, you were kind, generous, sweet, and cheeky. Everyone who met you adored you. We will all treasure your beanies and bed socks. I think most of all I will miss your voice and story telling. Will love and miss you always, rest peacefully beautiful lady.
We are with you in this moment. and so sorry for your loss … but what a beautiful life she lived. I wish we were together. You are all in our thoughts and more importantly, our prayers. I love and miss you.
