Passed away suddenly on
Saturday 26th November 2022
Aged 44 years.
Dearly loved husband of Kati.
Loved father of Tayla, Hayden and Jordan.

Kati, I also am recently widowed, your pain is like no other. I’m just so encouraged that Darrin’s love will live on through his family. Take all the support that if offered at this very emotional and extremely difficult time.
Darrin was an amazing person, boss and friend, the truest of gentlemen. He will certainly be sorely missed!!!!

You were such a kind soul. From the coffee’s you purchased for mum’s on mother’s day, the single roses handed out on valentines day to make people smile to the way you would randomly pay for the next person’s breakfast at your favourite cafe. You were always thinking of others and you were apart of the furniture around Berwick. Your smile will be greatly missed. Taken far to soon. My deepest sympathy to your beautiful family. I’m still in so much shock the fact that we will never get to hear your voice again or the stupid o’clock hours you would call. You are the kindest man I’ve ever known and you only ever wanted to make people smile and you always did that to me. I’m so grateful for our friendship I will never forget you and we will do what we can for you.

My sincere condolences to Darrin’s wife, children, family and friends. I met Darrin only a few weeks before his passing and he was so lovely and helpful. The world is a little less bright now. I hope Darrin’s family get the closure they deserve. RIP Darrin.

When I heard about the sudden passing of Darren I thought to myself why him . Such a gentle giant , who always had a smile on his face and not to mention such a generous guy who would do anything for you . May you rest in peace Darren you will never be forgotten
I have had the pleasure of getting to know Darrin and Kati as Jordan’s teacher this year, and watching our eldest children do their debutante ball together earlier this year, and become the best of friends and now partners. My heart breaks for everyone with such a tragic loss so close to people I care about, rest in peace Darrin, your humour and kindness is carried on by all of your children, Kati and Jamie – my door is always open xxxx
We only knew him for a short while
But he was always such a nice and kind person that we grew to like him a lot
