So sorry to hear of David’s passing. He was a great player and clubman for many years at Parkdale Cricket Club. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to the family.
Regards, Mark
The Parkdale Cricket Club has lost a legend. I have wonderful memories of a very special man. He was my mentor, guide and friend. My electric circuit that he upgraded all those years ago is still going strong!
My condolences to you all.
Ross and Kerry
I will miss David so much I’m always walking into his room to play his music but he is not there, I’m very sorry for your loss of a beautiful man
Dear Joe, I was so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I can only imagine how hard this must be, and I’m holding you in my heart.
Even though I didn’t know him well, I do know he was deeply loved—and that he had a wonderful daughter who showed up for him with care, time, and love. You were there for him in such a meaningful way, and I hope you can find comfort in that.
If you need someone to talk to, sit with, or just be around, I’m here.
With all our love,
May and Daniel
Dave was such a wonderful mentor when I first started playing 1st XI cricket at Parkdale CC. He is a true legend of the club and someone that we all held in the very highest regard. I have always felt privileged to have played alongside him. His legacy will live on through the Banfield medal as it has for over three decades. RIP LEGEND
