Condolences to my second cousins on the passing of my Great Uncle Denis.
I remember my Pop (Denis’ brother Johnny) and Uncle Denis in our kitchen having a few Guinness’ and they would start talking Gaelic and would tease me when I didn’t understand them telling me to shut the door or giving me other orders! All these memories are precious to me because Uncle Denis was such an awesome man and took our side of the Quinn’s under his wing when my Nan and Pop passed. Thank you for that Uncle Denis.
All our love to my cousins. We will miss our Great Uncle immensely.

A gentle nature,
A heart of gold, these are the memories we will hold.
You suffered so long, and told so few,
It doesn’t seem fair, what you went through.
God saw that you were weary,
The hill too steep to climb,
He gently closed your tired eyes,
And whispered “Peace be thine”
A tender thought brings a tear,
A silent wish that you were here.
We have lost, but Heaven has gained –
