Derrick Bertram Simmons
01/02/1963 – 19/06/2024
Derrick loved and cherished his
family more than anything.
He was a proud and loving father to
Dermie and Emily, who he cherished dearly.
A loving Son to Monica and Bertram;
Loving brother to Rosemary;
Loving brother-in-law to Damien;
A devoted uncle to Ethan, Jake and Bella;
Proud grandfather to Mia.
Tears in our eyes we’ll wipe away,
but the love in our hearts is there to stay.
“Smile when you think of me, for that is how I think of you”
“Remember me with smiles and laughter for that is how I will remember you all”

  10. I enjoyed many drinks with Derrick over the years, a Scotch whilst listening to Neil Diamond, a red and weekends away with his family. My condolences to his family and friends, Dermie and Emily, it’s always difficult to lose a parent. A grandfather, but also a son and brother. My thoughts are with his mother, Monica and sister Rosemary.
