Desmond James “Des” McDonnell
Passed away peacefully on
Thursday 24th October 2024
Dearly loved husband of Jane.
Loved son of John and Annie (both dec.)
Brother of Mary King, John,
Judy, Michael and Monica.
Loved and remembered always.
Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
prior to Mass commencing.
Requiem Mass for
Des McDonnell will be held at
Corpus Christi Catholic Church,
15 Granite Lane, Tynong on
Monday 4th November 2024
commencing at 11:00 a.m.
A burial will follow at the
Maryknoll Cemetery,
Koolbirra Rd, Maryknoll.

Dear Des, it was a pleasure to have known you. May you rest in God’s peace. Sending love to Des’ family and friends during this difficult time, may his memory be a blessing to you all.
Dear Ionie, thank you so very much for your consoling words. I will treasure them. Hope to call in soon. The funeral was beautiful today.

Dear Peter, thank you for your lovely words. They’re much appreciated. Des was a good man, in all senses of the word. If he’s not in Heaven, hopefully he soon will be, with all the prayers being said for him. Either way he’s in a better place than here & now.
