Dear Rhonda, Lois and Jim please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Frank .
Frank used to let me change the gears on the crash box bus from about 1983 when I was in like grade one or two until I was about in year 9 or 10 at Hallam high all the way to Narre Warren North. I used to sit on the horizontal chrome pole, push his hand out of the way and start doing the gears while he double clutched it. Imagine letting a kid do that these days! Such fond memories of such a nice man. Pity I found him 40 years later this way, would have liked a proper goodbye but great to see he lived to a very long age. Just want his family to know every kid on the bus loved him. And those crash box lessons helped me later on in life and acquired a 1923 car and had to learn crash box again ❤️
