Condolences / Guest Book

  1. How very sad for the family. We first met Geoff when he moved into Liege Avenue, Noble Park many many years ago. We took great delight in watching Matthew and Vanessa grow and have fond memories of 2 little children. We remember Geoff as a big tall red head who loved his football and took great delight in coaching the under 10 boys at Noble Park. Footy on the street with all the kids in the neighbourhood, cricket on our front lawn, card nights, he was the biggest cheat at UNO!!! He loved his food and a beer or two (or three), his kids and his family. We haven’t seen Geoff in about 35 years but memories last a long time. We send our deepest condolences to the family along with our children Karen and Glen.

  4. My heart breaks for the Tiberi Clan as they say goodbye to a gentle giant. When I was a little girl and Geoff was boarding with my Mum and Dad I couldn’t say his name properly so I called him Effy and that name stuck right into adulthood. I remember one night he was studying and I couldn’t sleep, so I sat up with him and annoyed him. He finally got rid of me when he drew me a picture with my spirograph set. When I was 8 I remember getting upset with him when he kept telling me I was a nasty girl for going to Darwin and causing so much destruction and got mad when he didn’t believe it wasn’t me, but he kept saying Cyclone Tracy was reported as being there. Recently he would ring me just to check in on me and remind me that despite my own losses I was loved and family didn’t always mean blood related. Effy I have always loved you and always will. Thank you for just being you and for being my big brother.
