Sorry to hear of the passing of Glen. Was quite a shock. A friend to everybody especially with the Vander Hoeven family. He will surely be missed. Thinking of you Susie at this time.

Glen was a true gentleman and a genuine ambassador for Ceylon’s Burgher cuisine in Melbourne. His authentic Burgher cuisine on a commercial level has still to be matched. Glen was the ultimate professional with meticulous attention to detail. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He always had time for that good old “Burgher” chat and laugh which I used to love so much.
Sincere condolences to Glen’s family. Rest In Peace, Glen.
Dear Suzy
I want to say how deeply grateful I am for the love, care and happiness you gave brother Glen. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of his life. I will always be grateful to you and I will always cherish the love you shared to all our family. Thinking of you and my beautiful niece Taryn.
Dear Suzie, we are shocked to hear of Glens’ passing; to you and the family we send our deepest sympathies at this sad time. Stay strong and remember all the wonderful memories you shared together. Also, here’s hoping that Glen can get some divine intervention for us long suffering Saints. RIP Glen
Thank you, Glen, for supporting me and so many others at crucial points in our lives and for giving many of us our first job opportunities. You helped pave the path for many of us to where we are today. We will always be grateful. May you rest in peace with God.
Our deepest sympathies to Suzanne & Taryn at this sad time. Glen was an amazing person. He was professional and outstanding in the catering business and his Burgher cuisine was outstanding. I had contact with Glen for several years as he always catered for our staff functions on a regular basis for around 300 members at AIG. His catering was outstanding and everyone looked forward to his food. Glen made a mark with all the Burgher cuisine he produced which was hard to beat.
He was caring and always had time for his customers
Rest in peace Glen. You will be sadly missed.
