  2. I moved from Mentone to Beaconsfield four years ago. Gwen’s ladies group MIDWAY rescued me from social isolation. Her vibrant personality was contagious and I’ll be forever grateful for the friendships I’ve made through her dedication to making a way.
I believe her absence in her family’s life will be hard for them to bear. She was a mighty force in a tiny package. It was an honour to have been associated with such an inspirational woman. Peace to your hearts in this difficult time.

  17. I don’t want to write the words that make this true; that I’ve shared my last hug with Gwen. She was such a joyful, warm, caring lady and I’ve held her up as my role model since joining the Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Centre and having the very great pleasure of knowing her. If anyone has shown us how to live life to its fullest, it is Gwen. She leaves a significant hole in the lives of those who knew her and my deepest condolences go to her family and loved ones. Hoping that your many happy memories of dear Gwen help to comfort you and fill the gap. She will always have a place in my heart and I will miss her terribly.
