Sincere sympathy to Peter and the extended family on the loss of your Mum.
Thinking of you all.
Gone but never forgotten.
I have wonderful memories of Heather as my Aunty Audrey Hood nee Vandersloot used to ride her motor bike and give Heather a ride to her workplace at Kooweerup North telephone exchange where they both trained as PMG telephonists in the early 1950’s
Then in the 1970’s and ‘80’s I worked at local council and experienced the loyal dedication both Heather and husband Ian had for local government and Ian’s dedication as a Pakenham and formerly Berwick councillor to Pakenham area
Heather was an amazing supporter and advocate for Pakenham Bush Nursing Hospital
There was a huge commitment by the Pakenham Younger Set in support of adding an extra added wing to that wonderful local hospital in Pakenham, Pakenham Bush Nursing Hospital and I was blown away, and honoured to be council’s choice to represent the Shire
I was the council ‘ Charity Girl’ entrant in this community fund raiser as representing council and Cr Ian Farrell and of course Cr Farrell’s beautiful wife Heather Farrell
Thank you so much Heather Farrell for fully supporting me in the fundraiser and also supporting me and my family as a former Pakenham South residents of several decades and representative
Safe travels to a better place in heaven xx
We love you and appreciate your earthly life xx
Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
