Passed away peacefully on
Thursday 30th January 2025, aged 79 years.
Dearly beloved wife of Ron (dec.).
Loved mother of Linda and Michelle.
Mother-in-law of Robert.
Grandmother of Craig and Kerry; Heather and Paul.
Great Grandmother of Cooper, Paige, Summer, Piper and Tyler.
A gentle nature, a heart of gold,
these are the memories we will hold.
Loved and remembered every day.

Family and friends are invited
to attend a celebration of Irene’s life
at the Pakenham Baptist Church,
1 Bentley Court, Pakenham on
Thursday 13th February 2025
commencing at 1.30 p.m.
A burial will follow at the
Pakenham Cemetery,
Thewlis Road Pakenham.

No flowers by request.

  2. Irene Hedge was captain of Dandenong Girls’ Brigade during some of my time there as a girl and an officer. She was fundamental in helping me follow my faith journey and I believe my life would have been very different if it hadn’t been for the connection I made with her and other GB officers and I shall be forever grateful. Irene was a generous and faithful person.
