  12. To all of the Burridge family.
We are very sorry to hear of Jenny’s passing.
Jenny was always such a warm and welcoming person.
She was a true local community hero and so many local girls and boys had an amazing sporting experience because of her selflessness.
Personally I was always on the opposite team to Jenny, but games always started with a smile and ended with a hug, regardless of the outcomes.
She taught me so much about the true value of team sport (which had nothing to do with scores) and for that I will be forever grateful.
I know it doesn’t fill the void you now all have, but please know just how wide her impact went.
    Thinking of you all.

  13. Condolences to the extended Burridge family. Jenny I was devastated to hear that you had passed away. You were always there to help anyone who wanted to play netball. Pakky Con School was lucky to have you not only run the canteen but to coach the school teams. You asked me to help out with the school teams and I could not have felt more privileged. Renee then started playing at the outdoor courts and your support was tremendous to not only the players, coaches and umpires but to all the families involved. You believed in me and offered me my first ‘real coaching’ position with the 15’s at Pakky Lions. I was hesitant at first, but Terry said ” if Jenny believes you can do it, go for it'” I’ve never looked back! Jenny also suggested the Annual Coaches Conference, where I attended a CAD course(coaching athletes with a disability) this was an eye opener and with the help of a lot of people, Jenny included, I started the All Abilities netball at Pakenham. Jenny you were always 110% supportive of everyone that was interested in netball. I’m proud to say that you were my first mentor but more importantly your friendship meant so much more.
Jen, you will be sadly missed at the Pakky Lions and the whole Pakenham district. YOU WERE PAKENHAM NETBALL.
Rest In Peace Jen from Janet, Terry, Renee and Jessica-Lee.

  18. I was in absolute disbelief when I read the passing of Mrs.Burridge.
I was only 8 years old watching my older sisters play netball on the old outdoor netball courts on John St and I begged and begged Mrs.Burridge to play netball. She finally gave up and said “Okay Candice” and she couldn’t wipe the smile off my face and I haven’t looked back since!
I’m now 39 and am the proud founder of my own netball club here in Pakenham.
Teaching players what I know and been taught. The love for the game, being social and active. And I have you to thank and I will never ever forget you Mrs.Burridge.
I was over the moon when I saw you down at our training facility a few months ago, teaching your grand daughter.
I spoke to you about how this is my club and I hoped you would be proud of me and you were, and I gave you the biggest hug.
Not to mention you were the best canteen lady also.
Thank you Mrs.Burridge for giving me the opportunity back when I was 8 years old.
You will never ever be forgotten and you will be remembered and missed by everyone.

May you rest in peace and be pain free.
My condolences to Graham and all of the family.
