Hi to all the Cherry family. We are saddened by Joan’s passing. We knew her best from the days of the Anglican church. She was always beautifully dressed, and her hair was her pride and joy. I admired Joan for her poise and the way she responded to my chats.
I saw her often in VMCH but only spoke to her a few times.
She is free of her challenges now and will have left lasting memories to all who knew her.
Vale Joan.
Henry and Elaine
Deepest Sympathy to all the families of Joan’s. Lorna and Joan were great pals. Now they are together again. God bless you Joan. RIP.
Love from Lyn and family.
Condolences to the Families of Joan. Memories from days singing in the St James Anglican Church choir. Teenage years spent at parties and games nights at Gembrook rd. The corgis. Church dances and Joan was a beautiful dancer. Friendship with all of your children, dearest Joan. You alone remembered my 25th wedding anniversary! Amazing, it was lovely of you to remember others on a day which was a very sad one for you, with the loss of Harry. Thankyou for being a wonderful role model in our lives, diminutive only in stature. A big personality. Sending love to the Families of Joan today. Thanks for the opportunity to share my experiences of Joan.

We loved you with all our hearts, you were without a doubt our beautiful aunty which gave us so much Joy. Oh how you could laugh and sing and Life… you were a Life line to Janine. You were the glue that stuck us all together.
John,

Lovely service for life well lived.
She was certainly a girl on the move!

To the Cherry family,
Gran was always so kind to me growing up and I will always remember her generosity, sense of humour and grace. She loved her family dearly and I know that she is resting in peace with the angels in heaven. Sending our love to all of her family and loved ones.
Love Celeste, Jonathan, Henry, Louis and Rose
We send our deepest sympathy to all the Cherry family at this sad time. Ian has many fond memories of Auntie Joan from when she and Harry first came to Toomuc Valley as neighbours, more than 70 years ago, John was a baby.
Joan is remembered by both of us as a lovely, friendly lady. She liked to chat about her family, whom she was so proud of, and also very interested in our family too. A very smartly presented lady who will be sadly missed.
Treasure your memories and know she is now in God’s garden peacefully resting . Our love to you all.
Ian and Glennda Studd.
