Sad to see you leave us John. I happily worked with you for so long. I hope that you got to see and do everything that you had planned in your retirement.
So sorry to hear of the passing of John. We all have great memories of the great character he was. Extending deepest sympathy to Nola and all his family at this sad time.
John Darmody
One of the greatest people I have met.As a young guy coming into the maniacal world of the tank I was a bit shell shocked with the fast pace of cards,tv and coffee but when things went wrong it was frantic and dangerous.I was very lucky to have been placed on Blue shift under Johns wing and he taught me so much but if you did it wrong you knew it lol.
We talked about his horses (shame he couldn’t pick a decent one) and his dogs and his madness for Essendon.
Guiseppe I will miss you dearly my friend but KIWIS still work harder.
Rest In Peace big man and enjoy your PK gum,Coke and Cigar on a stick while following the dogs
