  7. Dear Hanegraaf family,

How sad to hear from the loss of your beloved mother, oma en grandoma. Please know that on the other side of the world both Fien and Harry were loved, appreciated and held in the highest regards possible.

Building a life in a country far away and doing such a great job is admirable and courages. And you can al be very proud on what Fien and Harry achieved. And in doing so maintaining in touch with their relatives in the Netherlands is a testament to their loyalty and friendship.

You die twice. The first time physically and the second time when people never talk about you again. In Holland the names Fien and Harry Hanegraaf have got a bright future ahead of them, ’cause they will be remembered and talked about for a long time coming!

    Wishing you all the best,

    Tom Kuijpers

  9. Dear Hanegraaf family and close friends,

My deepest condoleances for your loss on Fien. It is with joy I look back on a lot of good and beautiful memories with your mum and dad and my grandparents in the early years. Thankfull for the precious times they have given my own mother and father. Knowing to have a place called home at the other side of the world is a special thing that taught me so much of important things in life. A small gesture but with a big impact. I want to find peace thinking your mum & dad and opa & oma are at a table somewhere playing cards again, at a place they can call home now.

Fien will be remembered and stories will be told and shared. She was loved and it was a honour knowing her.

lots of love Ellen & Juda
