I am truly shocked and saddened to hear this very sad news. I had the honour of working with Keith many times over the years as we shared the same DEC field service heritage and then moved into sales at the same time. He was really one of a kind and a true gent in every sense of the word. He will be missed. Condolences to his family. X
Fond memories of our time working together. Deepest sympathy to Keith’s family and friends.
My condolences to all of Keith’s family on his passing, I have fond memories of him in the 1980s in Tottenham Court Road when he worked for Digital. David
I’m shocked and saddened to hear of Keith’s passing. He was a tremendous guy and a loyal friend. We worked together in the eighties while he was at DEC and we visited him in Geneva where he met julie. Wonderful times and very fond memories.

Our heartfelt sorrow for your great loss of Keith…
May your treasured memories bring you comfort. Sending lots of love and hugs from Annette, Ray, Cameron and Claire xxx
Keith, you were a good friend and a welcome smile during some hard times of mine. We were always laughing, and I remember getting shushed on several occasions going back and forward with our banter! You were always a star mate. I can’t remember how many times I called you Keithy George (from Chopper for the uninitiated) lol. I am sorry that we hadn’t seen each other for some time – why is it always the way? and of course when we were supposed to talk shop and catch up, it never happened. I’ll be there on Monday to remember the good times. A x
Dear Uncle Keith,
May you rest peacefully, after your brave battle.
Many moments of laughter and good memories shared x
Love Louise, Andrew, Harry & Pippy x

My deepest condolences to Keith’s extended family, friends and work colleagues. I had the privilege of working with Keith via business support partnership and was deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Cheers to a wonderful person who knew how to have a laugh as well as solve the first world problems we think we have. You’ll be missed by many and never forgotten to be sure. Rest in peace Keith.
I am so sorry for your loss, Keith was such a kind hearted and lovely man. He was always a delight to deal with. Our thoughts are with the family.

We will very much miss Keith popping into our shop. He was such a beautiful person, we can’t imagine the depth of loss felt by his family and anyone who spent a considerable amount of time with him. Sending our deepest sympathy.
Keith and I met about 22 years ago on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays of northern Queensland. The occasion was a Microsoft reseller conference, and I still have a clear memory of how we met.
That particular evening, Microsoft hosted an outdoor function comprising stalls of food from various cultures (e.g. Malayan, Indian etc.), an open bar and entertainment. Keith and I were independently queueing for a beer when the MC of the event made a quip about another reseller, Hands On Systems, who, the MC said, had recently changed their name from Grope Software. We both thought this was pretty funny, got talking and launched what became a lasting friendship.
The ensuing 22 years or so hold significant and important memories for me particularly the following: –
• Lunches, particularly at The Charles Dickens Tavern in the city, where we solved all known problems with the world. These became a bimonthly event particularly in the latter years and always to celebrate our respective birthdays.
• Swapping yarns about clients to whom I had sold software and were now looked after by Keith in his role as account manager.
• Watching Rugby League (NRL) matches during winter on our respective TVs and texting gripes about hopeless refereeing decisions and/or great tries.
• Friendly banter during NRL State of Origin matches where Keith barracked for the Maroons (Qld) and I the Blues(NSW). Sad to say Keith had far more to be cocky about than I.
• Occasional trips to AMMI park to watch the Storm or to the 2nd or 3rd day of a Boxing Day Test.
• Taking the Vline train down to Packenham or Longwarry for a lunch at the local.
Keith was a best mate, a great friend, I will miss him terribly.
My best wishes and heartfelt condolences go out to Julie and the family.

Our dear friend and long work mate Mr Keith Asher, we have been working colleagues for over 12 years, meeting you at back in 2011 and you were a great inspiration to me. I will miss you dearly and the great conversation that we had over teams for many years.
Thanks for being a great person, and a great colleague of mine, you will be dearly missed and really missing you now,
Love your great friend and work colleague George Sousou
Rest in Paradise, Keith. It is truly shocking and saddening to hear of your passing.
To Keith’s family, may the joyful memories you shared with him soon outweigh the sadness you feel and bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time.
I couldn’t help but giggle when they asked us to put our phones on airplane mode, because Keith, you never missed a call and were always available for a chat. For that, I thank you. Miss you, beautiful Keith. Rest in peace mate x
Deeply saddened by the loss of Keith, such a true gentleman and loyal workmate. We worked closely together on so many Melbourne clients and I always loved meeting up for a coffee and chat prior to our client visits or an intense discussion in the office. Keith was definitely one of the good ones… and will be sadly missed.
My condolences to Keith’s family. Keith was a valued team member and a wonderful person who will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace!
Though you’re gone, your memory lives on. Rest peacefully, Keith.
