Well Lofty, you would never have realised what a wonderful asset you were to Pakenham. We should all be grateful for your early mornings taken up with keeping the streets clean. How things have deteriorated since your accident. The pride you showed was exemplary!
On behalf of Pakenham, I say THANKYOU!! RIP.
Sincere condolences to your very supportive wife Karen and family.
Penny & Alan Cole.
Will miss you immensely Dad, was so glad you got to meet my fiance Rory in October, was a fleeting visit from QLD on business.
Wish we could have visited more often.
You are now at peace .
Your loving daughter Joanne.
Sincere condolences to my husband Kelvin Jr, BIL Mark, and 2 SIL Joanne and Yvette on the passing of their father. Through Frances and her children have learned a lot about their lives and am thinking of all of his family at this sad time.
I knew of “Lefty” for many years, he was a local legend long before we moved to the area and when we did move here he was quickly more familiar than any community landmark. Always in main street doing his bit, more than any one else cared to do – he was an icon.
I was lucky enough to hear of his story once he was no longer around so much , as i met his lovely wife Karen, daughter Kelly, and 2 beautiful grandsons.
My condolences to them on the loss of not only a great man but their beloved husband, dad and grandpa.
Truly saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing. A local legend to us but a much loved family member to his wife, children and grandchildren.
You should all be so proud of the man he was and my deepest sympathies to you all.
I’m incredibly saddened to hear of your passing ‘lefty’ the legacy & commitment you carried will never be forgotten. You were a staple of ‘pakenham’ and the footprint you created are those of shoes that could never be filled again. You put your back into everything you did & wore a smile while doing so. Pakenham will never be the same. Rest peacefully mate we will miss you!
I knew kel from a young age as he was a very close family friend to our family and would help anyone and could do anything mechanical back in the early days on the shire council then after he’s lost his arm he was not going to be stopped he was a man that had a big kind heart and would help anyone and not sit around he didn’t know how to relax had to be doing something or helping someone RIP .
