Only met the lovely Mary once and that was enough to be grateful. We met in Melbourne we travelled all the way from Scotland summer 1987 when her beautiful Boys were only small. She welcomed us with open arms and I thank her for that. we spoke a lot online this last year and we exchanged lots of photos and memories. She never forgot her roots where she was born. Rest now Mary free from pain with the Angels. Not forgetting Harry and Ruby your parents….
They will be awaiting you in that high place in Heaven
Fond memories of our wonderful trip to Australia in ’87. I also remember the day the family left Kirkcaldy and made the long voyage across the seas.
I had great fun with all the family and I know Mary will be missed. If what we believe is true Mary is at peace and with her mum and dad
I visited the family with my mum and dad 25 years ago. I have many memories of everyone. Mary had that spark of life and fun about her and the first Christmas Card I received each year was always from Mary and Billie. The Gowans clan now have another angel in heaven. Rest in peace and rise in glory. Proud to be your cousin.
Sending my deepest condolences to Billy and all the family. Thinking of you all with much love.
Lyn Hyden (Hamilton) and family.
Our thoughts are with you Billie and family. our memories when visiting over Xmas and New Year 1986/87 will never be forgotten
RIP Mary.
Thank you so much Beatrice and Ruby. I have personally thought about you over the years and I know Mum had fond memories of the time she spent with you. Lots of love, Cam xxx (Mary’s 2nd Son)
Very happy memories of my visit to Australia in 1989 with Lorna and David when the whole family welcomed us with open arms.
Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time and sending much love to all.
“The view across the threshold is dark from our side but God in His Love will allow those who have gone before us to accompany our lives and to surround us with care more often than we possibly think.” Pope John Paul II.
May you rest forever in peace Mary.
