Farewell to my big brother Mike, who shared many happy childhood days. We also shared an enjoyable day at the “footy” a few years ago when Mike took me to see Melbourne play Hawthorn at the MCG, something I had always wanted to do. My loving condolences to Anne and all Mike’s family. It was so good to see Mike and Anne on their visit to Tassie last year.

I have very fond memories of my older brother. I was five years younger than Michael and remember looking up to him as he was the first of the five of us to leave school, enter the workforce and begin adult life He set a good example. In recent years I enjoyed his online messages, jokes and stories and will miss these. RIP Michael.
