  5. I go back some 54 years to meeting Norma & Dianne on a Centralian camping tour to Darwin. That was the start of a long and enjoyable friendship with a stalwart from Pakenham. I have fond memories of calling in for a cuppa on the way back from fishing at 90 mile beach or going to Pak to see the Fire Brigade comps. Norma was there, part and parcel of Pakenham as it grew. And likewise the times chatting on the phone to hear about family and the footy teams.

Over the years Norma travelled, I travelled, and we exchanged cards. Likewise Christmas. Was always great to catch up.

Alas, her innings comes to an end but the memories will remain. What a wonderful person, a big heart and a dedicated love for her community. Will be sadly missed.
