  3. Sincere condolences to the Wheeler family on the passing of Paul.
Golf days will never be the same again without seeing Pauly’s smiling face after our round.
Loved the chats we used to have regarding the rules of golf and
how our group used to amaze him on the various predicaments we’d find ourselves in.
The look on his face just made our day!
Paul & Joanne Kaye & family.

  8. My sincere condolences to the Wheeler family. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the memorial service tomorrow.
Paul was a great support to me when I was involved at the Golf Club, in particular with the match committee. He was a wealth of knowledge and always available to help with advice. He also had fantastic, cheeky sense of humour and spoke so fondly of his family.
Rest in peace my friend Paul.

  9. My sincere condolences to the Wheeler family, another true gentleman of the Garfield Golf Club leaves us. I remember as a junior member being surrounded by great people and Paul was no exception, he loved a joke and was always there if you needed him. I have fond memories of Paul as captain and Dad ( John Rose) as president it was always an entertaining presentation of a Saturday night. I’m sure he will be sadly missed by a lot of people, unfortunately I won’t be able to make it Friday but my thoughts will be with you. Sincerely David Rose and family. xoxo

  11. Condolences to Paul’s family on his passing. Paul was a great help to me when I started working in the office at the Golf club at Pakenham. Paul always had a cheeky grin on his face but the knowledge he had his head was amazing, especially relating to golf. He never lost his interest in people and our last contact was in March via message on Facebook. Paul, I will miss our ‘talks’ and your wisdom. Berris will be waiting for you with open arms. RIP.
