Sending my condolences to all of the Murphy and Boraston families. Gran was the most lovely, caring person who always went out of her way to make others feel special. Sympathies to Val, Ken, Michael and families. We have fond memories of a truly wonderful aunt. She was loved by so many and always had such a positive attitude to life and a ready smile. She always said “There is no point in complaining – it is what it is. You just have to make the best of it!” And of course this was always followed by a big smile and a chuckle. Rest in peace Auntie Phyl.
To Ken, Val, Michael and families, we were so sorry to hear of Auntie Phyl’s passing. I have fond memories of her visits to Shepparton when I was young, and of us travelling to visit Aunty Phyl and Uncle Ron, and the rest of the family. I remember her comforting me when we lost Grandma too soon. Everytime we visited, I felt connected to the grandmother I had lost. I am so pleased that over the years I was able to bring my children to meet Aunty Phyl, with my youngest Henry feeling a very special connection to her. I’m so pleased we were able to see her just a few months ago. She was always happy to see us, and I will never forget her smile and the sound of her voice. Aunty Phyl, I love you xx
