Condolences / Guest Book

  1. Our deepest condolences to Dick’s family, we were so shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing. My sister Diana and I (Angela) live opposite Dick and he was always friendly and happy for a chat or a wave. We will sincerely miss his presence across the road as our neighbour. Sending our love and support to Dick’s family during this difficult time. If there is anything we can do please let us know. Angela Nielsen and Diana Nielsen

  2. Hi, I wish to pass on my heart felt condolences, the passing of Dick has left a gaping hole at work, as I’m sure it has within his family. Even to this day, I keep thinking he’s going to bounce into work with his cheery ‘good morning’ and cheeky smile. I care so much for all my drivers, and Dick was no exception. I am still in shock at his passing. There are reminders everywhere at work of Dicks presence, and that is a wonderful thing, and he is truly missed. RIP ole mate

  3. My deepest sympathies to all your family. It was a pleasure to know and work with you. Missing your cheery face, jokes and recipes.
“That’s all we’ve got time for, so it’s “Goodnight” from me. And it’s “Goodnight” from him.”

  6. Mr Happy, that’s what I used to call him. Thank you for making my initial days at VicTrack so comfortable. It was a joy to work with Dick and I will never forget the warmth his smile brought to the office Everyday. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  7. Whilst I knew Dick in the 80s, being in Western Port Light Opera Company (later to become Windmill)together, life has a way of slipping past, you fall out of contact but life goes on, so much I didn’t know about Dick in the years between. But to meet him again a few years ago, and he was with Triona I could see how proud he was to introduce Triona to me, and how much love he had for his daughter. Cherish every moment, every memory, because he will always be there in your memories. Grief can not be shared, but sympathy is in abundance, condolences to Triona and family.

  8. It’s a sadder, more quiet and less colourful place now without Dick. I will always remember his cheeky smile and even cheekier comments.
His adoration of his daughter was so bright. Whenever Dick spoke of Triona or shared photos of her reaching an important milestone, he reminded me of a school boy that had just received the most awesome present in the world.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Dick and to have been able to get to know him.
My sincere condolences to Triona and Dick’s family and friends.

  10. Dear Triona and family,
I cannot imagine the pain and heartache you’re feeling for this sudden loss. I am praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time. I worked with Dick for many years in VicTrack and have very fond memories of him and our little chats about mostly children and parenting. His face lit up when he would talk about Triona, and I loved getting all the updates about her milestones. I really looked up to Dick as a parent and related to him and loved how he was so nurturing and engaged with his one and only Triona. We can now only cherish the beautiful memories and glad his legacy will continue through his beautiful girl; praying she be granted the strength and patience.

  11. I was sad to see the past about Dick’s death.
I knew Dick through Pakenham HIgh School and local scouts.
He would always stop and talk if we met in the supermarket, telling me about his life and how Toni was going.

    Rest peacefully Dick.
