My deepest condolences to you I only worked with Riley for a short period of time at PRM he always made me laugh. I couldn’t believe he had his pilot license at such a young age. Truly was a legend going to be missed very much at work xx
I am kakae ,Riley, work mate, so shock by the sad news, he’s a kind young man ,always smiling and talking to everyone, . he calls me Rail Prince ,all the time ,even on the work radio. Riley, am going to miss you my little bro.

I didn’t know Riley very well. The times we spoke he was warm and had the energy of someone who wanted to know about you and saw me as equal, humble, he left behind the status of hi-rail operator behind him. He inspired me in the short time we knew eachother. I wish his family the very best. I am broken for you guys seeing the beautiful soul he had and the effect he had on me in such a short time.

Condolences to the Gaunt family on the tragic passing of Riley, one of our former Air Force cadets.
He was a keen shooter, passionate about aviation and flying and loved get out in the bush with his peers. Taken far too soon.

Riley you were one of the first mates I made at 403 and you always had a good laugh with me. You helped me out with some of my career choices and my first flying lesson. It’s hard to believe just last week we were talking about how amazing it would be to sit at the controls of 1400HP in the cockpit.

I didn’t get to meet Riley but I knew his dad and the way James spoke about him l knew he was an amazing young man. James told me that his dream was to become a pilot and he achieved that at a very young age.
His family was so proud of him so he
will be truly missed.

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Riley. It’s truly devastating to lose someone so young with their whole life ahead of them. Riley was a great Operator, full of life and happiness, such a nice, wonderful, polite young man who will be very sadly missed by all who knew him at RMS. You were taken from us and we will never be the same.
We are all so proud of how you went about life. Your enthusiasm for living every moment to its full and your respect to all those who you came across in life was more than any parent could ever hope for.
Every time we had the joy of spending time with you buddy, it warmed our hearts to see all the qualities of your mum and dad and your own jokester attributes. All of which had grown within you over the years developing you into the beautiful young man you were.
Your departure has broken the hearts of all your cousins. As one of the oldest cousins they all looked up to you as the great role model you were. Like us they feel robbed not to be able to see you flourish in life. They will always remember you making them all laugh and the true friend you were to them all.
While your life was far too short, and you were robbed of the full life you deserved, you will always have a place in our hearts forever.
To my beautiful sister Michelle, Jimmy and Casey, words can never heal your broken hearts.
Please know as a family we will always be there to walk with you in the healing times ahead. We will forever carry the love that we were blessed to have for Riley and will always remember him as the absolute champion young man he was.
