  3. Fond memories of times spent with my sister Elsie and Russell, especially at Gardiner Street. Happy time there as a maturing teenager, parties and dancing late into the night, probably getting away with more than I should have! Then later at the Cardi pub. I had my 21st there — what a night that was.
Russ was always kind to me, a genuinely good bloke.
Sending my heartfelt condolences to the whole family.
Rest in peace, Russ ❤️

    • RIP Russ we have shared a lot together, truck driving and farming . I really miss the days on the farm when we set fire to some big Jarrah stumps grabbed a slab and sat there with the dogs reminiscing and re- hydrating. Keep a seat by the fire, when it’s my turn I think I will be heading in the same direction. Condolences to Stephen ,Craig and Dean and all the other relies in the East.

  7. I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Russ during the time mum and I lived at the Cardinia pub; when he’d let me follow him around the bar and kitchen, while he chatted to the staff. The many glasses of cold coke that Uncle Russ often poured for me, straight from the bar tap, while putting coins into the Juke box so I could hear my favourite songs. One very special memory was the day Uncle Russ took me shopping to Main Street Berwick, he had a soft spot for me & wanted to do something generous; he bought two dresses for me; I’ve never forgotten that day or the gentle, kindness in his eyes.

Love and condolences to my wonderful cousins Stephen, Craig and Dean, their partners, their children, and all those who loved and cared for Uncle Russ. ❤️
    Rest in Peace, Uncle Russ.

  8. Wonderful memories of a true gentleman. Routine – leave clubrooms, dinner at Cardi Pub, stay til closing, kids in tow. Home to put kids to bed. Betty, Brian and Lisa and a few others arrive for a couple more drinks. Russell arriving and cooking garlic scallops for everyone. Many great times at his beloved Beacy Footy Club of which he was such a big part. Remembering all those good times today and offering my condolences to Russell’s family. Thanks for the memories my friend.
