Shane came into my good friend Gerry’s life when she most needed him. He was a magic man who worked selflessly for his family, who by some miracle arrived, against all odds. I am grateful for knowing him but also for the love he could give to Gerry, who became the wonderful woman that she is today, in part because of the love and support he gave. Rest in peace, Shane. You will always be remembered fondly.
