Vale “Uncle” Wally Prause
It has been years since I last saw you but the news of your passing has saddened me deeply.
You were a dear friend to my Father, Alan Bishop, as was your wife Marion to my Mother, Margaret.
I have all these memories of yours and Aunty Marion’s visits to our place in Strathmore, our visits to your place in Dandenong, and all the camping, fishing and ferreting trips that will never fade. You were a huge part of my childhood and played a big role role in developing me into the person I am today.
I am and will be forever grateful to have known you.
Rest in Peace Uncle Wally, reunited with Marion, hopefully with a couple of GSP’s, some ferrets, a great big rabbit warren and a decent fishing hole to keep you busy.
Maybe a beer and a cheeky cigar with Dad when you get there.
Sounds like heaven to me…
All our thoughts and love go out to you all at this very sad time, I’m sure Wally will walk beside you all and give you a sign that he is always with you. Take care and always here for a chat ❤️
Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to Karen, Andrew and all the family. This sad news has saddened my heart as I recall many memories during the Bangholme years. May God give you strength, bless you all during this difficult times. May Wally rest in peace in heaven with Marion…. love always ❤️ Tony and Titie
Farewell “Uncle” Wally – and thanks for the wonderful memories. To Karen and Andrew and families – our deepest condolences.
I hope you can find some comfort in knowing what wonderful memories I have of the times we spent with “Uncle” Wally and family;
Scouting; Camping; Hunting; GSPs, Ferreting [not so much LOL], Inverloch, Golden Beach. Parties and soirees and so much more.
I learned so much from “Uncle” Wally – I can only hope I have passed on as much as he gave.
Sharing your sorrows at his passing, our thoughts are with you. Wally lives on in our memories. Love, Paul Bishop and Family
